We are appealing for witnesses after a Plymouth man was pushed by a young man and sustained a broken wrist and fractured pelvis. Officers were called to a grassed area off Soap Street, Plymouth, on Monday 20 July at around 8.35pm, following a report of an unprovoked assault. The victim, a local man in his 50s, was approached by a group of five men aged in their early to mid 20s. He was subsequently pushed to the floor causing the injuries he sustained. Officers are investigating and are seeking two suspects. One is described as being a white male, 5ft 8in tall and around 25 years old. He had short brown curly hair, with the top being slightly longer than the back and sides. He was wearing black knee length shorts, a grey t-shirt and a black baseball cap worn backwards. Another man in the group is described as being a slim white male, approximately 5ft 4in tall and in his early 20s. He also had similar hair and was wearing shorts. Officers are asking any witnesses to the incident or with relevant information to come forward by contacting us via our website here or by calling 101 quoting reference number 50260191031. | ||
